Jiulong Grand Canyon

Spanning two townships—Dawangzhuang and Xueye

, crossing 15 mountain ridges, from Longwei at the lower end to Fanggan at the upper end, the canyon stretches approximately 10 kilometers in total. Towering ancient trees line the valley, while peculiar peaks rise sharply on both sides. Mountains, springs, pools, waterfalls, and caves are scattered throughout the canyon, all retaining their pristine natural state. Attractions include Wolong Gorge, Apricot Blossom Village, Zhaobi Peak, Black Dragon Pool, Dragon Maiden Pool, and Dragon Gate Pool. The pools are interconnected, and the waterfalls flow one after another. As the poem goes: “The dragon hides in the deep pool, the eagle loves the peak; the sun shines on the cliff, revealing silver stars. The scenery of Dragon Pool is all poetic, this view of Laiwu’s landscape is truly majestic.”
