Named after the red stones formed over 100 million years ago during the Jurassic period of the Mesozoic era, Laiwu Red Stone Park is a free public park in Laiwu. The overall environment in the park is quite pleasant, making it a great spot for leisure. The park mainly features red stones (danxia landform), which are very scenic. If you're specifically here to see the red stones, entering from the east gate is more convenient. The area covered by the red stones isn't very large, though the entire park is quite expansive. After entering from the east gate, you can see the red stones by walking west along the scenic path for about 100 meters. The red stones are now under supervision, and climbing on them is prohibited. A casual stroll around the park takes roughly 1.5 hours.

As the largest park in Laiwu, Red Stone Park is a top choice for locals seeking leisure and recreation every day. The park is home to the unique "red stone landform," which also gives the park its name. Located just west of the municipal government, it enjoys a very convenient location with numerous snack shops and hotels nearby. It's a must-see attraction if you're visiting Laiwu—and it's free.
