Imperial Dragon Crown Water Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Imperial Dragon Crown Water Park is located in Linjiazhuang Village, in the southern mountainous area of Laiwu District, Jinan City. It is 14 km from Laiwu, 80 km from Jinan, 47 km from Tai'an, and 80 km from Zibo, offering convenient transportation.

The scenic area spans 500,000 square meters. To date, over 50 million yuan has been invested in the first phase of development. It is projected that 200–300 million yuan will be invested to create the only water park-themed scenic area in the province. Current attractions include off-road vehicles, mountain loop rafting, viral swinging bridges, floating pedestrian bridges, a zoo, water cruises, bumper cars, flower viewing, and VR experience rooms.

With comprehensive services and unique natural advantages of mountains and water, Imperial Dragon Crown Water Park stands out. Here, you can enjoy delicious local dishes such as Laiwu stir-fried chicken, stewed chicken, seasonal wild vegetables, and roast goose, providing you with an extraordinary visual and culinary experience.

The scenic area is currently constructing forest cabins, each able to accommodate 2–3 people and equipped with complete facilities including restrooms. You can bring your family to experience sleeping under the stars.

Legend

According to ancient tales, the Northern Pole Immortal An Qisheng once practiced here, leaving behind a “Stairway to Heaven” and a “Platform to Immortality.”

Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty made seven eastern inspection tours and paid homage to the immortal but was unsuccessful. He specially removed his imperial crown and placed it on a stone as a symbol of his sincerity in praying for immortality. Hence the name: Imperial Dragon Crown.

This story was recorded in a stele inscription from the Song Dynasty, unfortunately lost during wartime and no longer available.

The poetic immortal Li Bai once composed the poem "Northern Pole Immortal An Qisheng": "On the immortal terrace and mountain, divine traces appear; / Immortal furnaces and dwellings shimmer against the blue sky. / I also hear the crane’s cry from the sea— / It is the thousand-year sage of Penglai, a true sight."

Within the Imperial Dragon Crown scenic area, there still remain sites such as the Stairway to Heaven, Ascension Platform, Immortal Gorge, and the Stone Where Emperor Wu Worshipped the Immortal. There is also the spot where An Qisheng left behind jujubes as large as melons, all recording touching legends. Nearby attractions such as Laojun Hall, Qingniu Mountain, Shenxian Mountain, Chaoyang Ridge, and traces of immortals further substantiate these tales.
