The Immortal Mountain Stone Carvings are located in Tanjialou Village, Gaozhuang Subdistrict, Laiwu District, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, and fall under the category of cave temples and stone carvings.

On December 25, 1997, the Immortal Mountain Stone Carvings were designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit of Jinan City.

Gaozhuang Subdistrict: Gaozhuang Subdistrict is located in Laicheng District, Laiwu City, Shandong Province, and is named after Gaozhuang Village where the subdistrict government is stationed. It borders Fengcheng Subdistrict across the Wen River to the north, neighbors Yanzhuang Town to the east, adjoins Niuquan to the west, and is bounded by the watershed between Lianhua Mountain and Xinfu Mountain of Xintai City to the south. It governs 90 administrative villages, covering an area of 150.7 square kilometers. In the early Hongzhi era of the Ming Dynasty, the Li family migrated from Lijiafengqiu to this area to establish the village.
