The Monument to Martyr Yang Zhiliang is located in Jingyu Village, Gaozhuang Subdistrict Office, Laiwu District. It dates back to 1944 and is classified as a modern-era significant historical site and representative building.

On December 30, 2004, the Monument to Martyr Yang Zhiliang was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit of Jinan City.

Gaozhuang Subdistrict: Gaozhuang Subdistrict is located in Laicheng District, Laiwu City, Shandong Province, and is named after Gaozhuang Village where the government is stationed. It borders Fengcheng Subdistrict across the Wen River to the north, neighbors Yanzhuang Town to the east, adjoins Niquan to the west, and shares a boundary with the mountain divide between Lianhua and Xinfu mountains of Xintai City to the south. It administers 90 administrative villages, covering an area of 150.7 square kilometers.
