Xishanggu Tombs

The Xishanggu Tombs are a protected cultural heritage site of Jinan City.

The Xishanggu Tombs are located in Xishanggu Village, Dawangzhuang Town, Laicheng District. They date back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods and are categorized as ancient burial sites.

On May 4, 2015, the Xishanggu Tombs were designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site of Jinan City.

Dawangzhuang Town: Dawangzhuang Town, Laicheng District  This town is rich in mineral resources such as gold, iron, quartzite, and granite, and has a well-developed stone processing industry. Among them, "Laicheng Black" granite is exported both domestically and internationally and is one of China’s premium stone varieties. Ginger cultivation is widespread, making it a nationally renowned “Ginger Town.” An annual “Ginger King” competition is held, promoting the brand “Dawang Ginger, Ginger King.” The current ginger cultivation area spans 20,000 mu. The forestry and fruit industry is developing rapidly, with main specialties including chestnuts, walnuts, prickly ash, and hawthorn.
