The former residence of Liu Zhongying (Site of the Former CPC Shandong Provincial Committee Working Committee) is located in Bogelou Village, Niuxian Town, Laiwu District. It dates back to 1902 and is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative building.

On May 4, 2015, the former residence of Liu Zhongying (Site of the Former CPC Shandong Provincial Committee Working Committee) was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit of Jinan City.

Niuxian Town: Located in the southwestern part of Laiwu, Niuxian Town borders the majestic Lotus Mountain to the south, the gentle waters of the Wen River to the north, the Gaozhuang Subdistrict to the east, and the Jiaoyu Town of Daiyue District, Tai’an to the west. The terrain is higher in the south and lower in the north, sloping northwestward. The southern part consists of mountainous areas, while the northwest features hills and plains. The town was formed in late 2000 through the merger of the former Niuxian Town and Shengjing Township. It covers a total area of 150 square kilometers, including 80,000 mu of arable land, 75,000 mu of mountainous land, and 75,000 mu of hilly areas.
