The remains of large mountain stone walls (Laiwu section of the Lu Great Wall ruins) are a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Jinan.

The remains of large mountain stone walls (Laiwu section of the Lu Great Wall ruins) are located in Niuquan Town and Gaozhuang Subdistrict of Laiwu District, as well as Yan Zhuang Town, Aishan Subdistrict, and Wenyuan Subdistrict of Gangcheng District. Dating back to the Spring and Autumn period, they are categorized as ancient architecture.

On June 28, 2018, the remains of large mountain stone walls (Laiwu section of the Lu Great Wall ruins) were designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection site in Jinan.

Niuquan Town: Located in the southwestern part of Laiwu, Niuquan Town is bordered by the majestic Lotus Mountain to the south, the gentle Wen River to the north, adjacent to Gaozhuang Subdistrict to the east, and neighboring Jiaoyu Town of Daiyue District in Tai’an to the west. The terrain is higher in the south and lower in the north, sloping northwestward, with mountainous areas in the south and hills and plains in the northwest. It was formed in late 2000 through the merger of the former Niuquan Town and Shengjing Township. The town covers a total area of 150 square kilometers, including 80,000 mu of arable land, 75,000 mu of mountainous land, and 75,000 mu of hilly land.
