The Sureren Mountain Religious and Cultural Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jinan City.

The Sureren Mountain Religious and Cultural Site is located in Zhouwangxu Village, Zhaili Town, Laiwu District. It dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties and is classified as an ancient site.

On June 28, 2018, the Sureren Mountain Religious and Cultural Site was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit of Jinan City.

Zhaili Town: Located in the western part of Laiwu City and adjacent to Tai’an, Zhaili Town lies in the central area of the Tai-Lai Plain. It serves as the logistics hub of western Laiwu, boasting a favorable transportation location that enables access to all villages and towns in Laiwu as well as neighboring areas such as Tai’an, Jinan, and Zhangqiu. The Zhaili Market is the foremost of Laiwu’s “Eight Great Markets,” with a long-established commercial foundation. At its peak, it attracted foot traffic of over one hundred thousand people and has developed a significant sphere of influence. As a large-scale village and town market, it is readily accepted both culturally and psychologically by the local population. In the early stages of market development, it will serve as the main source of goods for major markets.
