Tengzhou Binhu National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

The Shandong Tengzhou Weishan Lake Wetland Red Lotus Tourist Scenic Area is situated within Binhu Town of Tengzhou City in the northeastern part of Weishan Lake. It borders the Meng-Yi Mountain Range to the east, faces the vast expanse of Weishan Lake to the west, connects to the prosperous regions of northern Jiangsu to the south, and lies adjacent to the sacred land of Confucius and Mencius to the north. The millennia-old Grand Canal flows through the area. Covering a total area of 90 square kilometers, it is one of the largest, most pristine in natural ecology, and most scenic wetland areas in China’s northern regions. The site boasts a 55-kilometer lakeshore, abundant biodiversity, over 100,000 acres of wild red lotus, dozens of square kilometers of reed marshes, and rare inland water forests, offering breathtaking and picturesque scenery. Here, mountains and waters complement each other, clear waters reflect white sails, red lotuses stand amid green reeds, and seabirds gather in flocks—offering poetic views all year round. In spring, enjoy the clear waters of the lake and willows caressed by the breeze; in summer, cruise among vast fields of red lotus and undulating reed waves; in autumn, admire the fading greens and reds, and snow-like fluttering reeds; in winter, witness the lake glistening under snow and flocks of birds soaring above. The Shandong Weishan Lake Wetland Red Lotus Scenic Area has been rated as a National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction, a National Wetland Park, a National Water Conservancy Scenic Area, a National Environmental Education Demonstration Base, a National Standardized Demonstration Zone for Wetland Red Lotus, a National Photography Association Shooting Base, a National Fishing Association Competition Base, a Shandong Provincial Consumer Satisfaction Unit, and a Shandong Provincial Service Brand Enterprise, exerting influence both domestically and internationally.
