The emerald hues of Qinggu Peak
Qinggu Peak is a precipitous summit of Lianqing Mountain, featuring towering cliffs and breathtaking scenery. It can be directly accessed from the central hiking route of Lianqing Mountain. The mountain is composed entirely of granite, with five massive rocks standing upright at its summit. On the eastern side, there are three enormous cliff faces, known as Big Fortress, Second Fortress, and Third Fortress, resembling three stone mirrors hanging on the mountainside, covering a total area of over 100,000 square meters. The sight is spectacular, allowing adventurous visitors to scale the cliffs. The cliffs are surrounded by lush, verdant trees. On the southern side of Qinggu Peak lies the ancient site of a White Lotus Sect military stronghold, with remnants of stone fortifications still standing today. It is one of the prime spots in Lianqing Mountain for viewing trees, rocks, and landscapes, as well as for hiking and exploration.
