Dongguo Town "Love Mountain Charm" Tourism Demonstration Site

The Dongguo Town "Love Mountain Charm" Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site is one of the "Five Golden Flowers" of rural tourism in Tengzhou City. Designed by the Sichuan Planning Institute and planned on-site by the Tengzhou City Planning Bureau, after years of development and construction, it has now become an agricultural tourism brand known for its beautiful natural scenery, rich folk activities, and strong local flavor.

The main components of the "Love Mountain Charm" Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site include the renovation of farmer homestays, new homestay construction, Lianqing Mountain Square, fruit-picking gardens, infrastructure development, and Yunhao Farmstead.

To enhance the operational standards of the "Love Mountain Charm" area, highlight the charm of farm life, and better meet visitors' basic needs, our town has actively promoted supporting infrastructure. We have successively completed three distinctive tourist routes: roads in the fruit-picking garden, stone-paved mountain paths, and sightseeing roads. To facilitate evening farmstay experiences for tourists, we invested 110,000 yuan to install 26 solar-powered street lamps in the Shiyang Mountain homestay redevelopment area. To provide parking and dining convenience, we built a parking lot in the Shiyang Mountain redevelopment zone. In the new homestay area, we carried out water and electricity infrastructure projects, including transformer installation, deep well drilling, and pipeline laying. We also completed the land transfer of 800 acres in Shanghuangzhuang, and invited the city’s fruit tree center to conduct overall planning and fruit tree variety arrangement for the picking garden according to the "Six Gardens" model (apple, pear, peach, pomegranate, cherry, and tea gardens). To date, 60,000 seedlings have been planted, creating a flowery spring scene and a fruitful autumn harvest. With an investment of over 10 million yuan, we developed Yunhao Farmstead, which features traditional antique-style architecture built against mountains and near water. It can accommodate 300 people for conferences, dining, and lodging simultaneously, and officially opened to the public on May 1st, 2011.
