Dawu Town is located in the western part of Tengzhou City, known as the "Thoroughfare of Nine Provinces and the Throat of Qilu." It borders the Fushan Mountain Range to the north and the national 4A-level Weishan Lake Wetland Honghe Tourist Scenic Area to the west. It is recognized as a National Ecological Township, a Central Town of Shandong Province, a Model Town, an Ecological Town, a Model Greening Town, and a Strong Tourism Town. Covering a total area of 100 square kilometers, it governs 65 administrative villages with a total population of 110,000. From 1946 to 1956, it served as the seat of Fushan County. The town boasts abundant tourism resources and profound cultural heritage. In recent years, building on its local culture, history, and natural resources, Dawu Town has carefully developed premium tourist attractions such as the Hongshankou Tourist Area and Shan Shan National Forest Park, while continuously improving its tourism infrastructure. By 2012, the town had one national AAA-level scenic spot, three scenic spots under construction, and three registered tourism enterprises, making it one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Shandong Province.
