The Bashang Ruins are a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Bashang Ruins are located in Guanqiao Town, Tengzhou City. Dating back to the Neolithic Age, the Zhou Dynasty, and the Han Dynasty, they were designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province in 2013.

Guanqiao Town: Located in the southern part of Shandong Province, Guanqiao borders the sacred land of Confucius and Mencius in Qilu to the north, neighbors the Su-Huai Plain and the new urban area of Zaozhuang to the south, lies adjacent to the extensions of the Yishan Mountain range to the east, and sits by the Weishan Lake to the west. Covering a total area of 64 square kilometers with a population of 81,000, it has been recognized as Tengzhou’s “Economically Strong Town” for three consecutive years, a provincial-level “Safe and Civilized Town for Comprehensive Social Management,” and a central town of Shandong Province. In 2001, the town achieved a gross domestic product of 460 million yuan, with total industrial and agricultural output valued at 820 million yuan, and an urbanization rate reaching 30%.
