Dongyu Site

The Dongyu Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Dongyu Site is located in Yangzhuang Town, Tengzhou City. It dates back to the Neolithic Age through the Han Dynasty. In 2013, the Dongyu Site was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Yangzhuang Town: Located in the southeastern part of Tengzhou City, Yangzhuang Town got its name “Yangzhuang” (literally “Sheep Village”) because Fan Li, a statesman during the Warring States period, once herded sheep here. It covers an area of 128 square kilometers and has a population of 81,000. In 2003, the town’s GDP reached 550 million yuan, with fixed asset investment of 70 million yuan, local fiscal revenue of 13.91 million yuan, including 7.1 million yuan from local governments.

Yangzhuang Town enjoys a superior location at the junction of Tengzhou, Shanting, and Xuecheng districts. The Jizao Highway and Zao-Mu Expressway run east-west across the town, while the Shanxue Highway stretches from north to south, forming a well-connected transportation network of three vertical and three horizontal routes within the town. … More details about Yangzhuang Town ++
