Shizhuang Site

The Shizhuang Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Shizhuang Site is located in Jiesuo Town, Tengzhou City. Dating back to the Neolithic Age through the Zhou Dynasty, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the Shandong Provincial People's Government in 2013.

Jiesuo Town: Situated on the western plain of Tengzhou in Shandong Province, Jiesuo Town borders the remaining ranges of the Yishan Mountains to the east and the shores of Weishan Lake to the west. It covers a total area of 79.8 square kilometers and has a population of 86,000.

Jiesuo Town enjoys a superior geographical location and convenient transportation. To the east, it is adjacent to the Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway, the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, and National Highway 104, while to the west it lies along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Local roads such as the Jiesuo–Xi, Jiwēi, and Beiliú routes traverse the town, forming an extensive and well-connected transport network.

The town is rich in mineral resources and natural wealth.
