Xueyanqian Site

The Xueyanqian Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Xueyanqian Site is located in Baogou Town, Tengzhou City. It dates back to the Zhou and Han dynasties. In 2013, the Xueyanqian Site was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the Shandong Provincial People's Government.

Baogou Town: Located in the southwestern part of Tengzhou City, Baogou Town is traversed by the Beijing-Shanghai Railway and National Highway 104 from north to south, and crossed by Duxi Road from east to west. It connects to the exit of the Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway to the east, offering a prime location and convenient transportation. The town administers 66 administrative villages, covering a total area of 74.6 square kilometers with a population of 81,000. Three major coal mines currently under construction—the Jinzhuang Coal Mine, the Tengdong Coal Mine, and the North Seven Mining Area of the Tianchen Coal Mine—are creating strong new momentum for the development of southern Shandong’s coalfield, indicating great economic potential.
