Front Courtyard Ruins

The Front Courtyard Ruins are a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Front Courtyard Ruins are located in Yangzhuang Town, Tengzhou City, dating back to the Neolithic Age, Shang Dynasty, Zhou Dynasty, and Han Dynasty.

On June 23, 2015, the Front Courtyard Ruins were designated as part of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Yangzhuang Town: Located in the southeastern part of Tengzhou City, Yangzhuang Town got its name “Yangzhuang” (literally “Sheep Village”) because Fan Li, a statesman during the Warring States Period, once herded sheep here. It covers an area of 128 square kilometers and has a population of 81,000. In 2003, the town’s GDP reached 550 million yuan, with fixed asset investment of 70 million yuan, local fiscal revenue of 13.91 million yuan, including 7.1 million yuan from local government sources.

Yangzhuang Town enjoys a superior location, situated at the junction of Tengzhou, Shanting, and Xuecheng districts.
