Taizhuang Site

The Taizhuang Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Taizhuang Site is located in Dongguo Town, Tengzhou City, and dates back to the Neolithic Age, the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and the Han Dynasty.

On June 23, 2015, the Taizhuang Site was designated as part of the fifth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Dongguo Town: Located in the northeast of Tengzhou City, Dongguo Town sits at the junction of Tengzhou, Shanting, and Zoucheng counties, covering an area of 148 square kilometers. It has 92 administrative villages and a population of 116,000, and is recognized as a central town by the Shandong Provincial Government. The town lies west of National Highway 104, the Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway, and the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, with the Tengping Highway and the Zaozhuang Agricultural Demonstration Road passing through. It features the Lianqing Mountain Provincial Geopark and over ten large and medium-sized reservoirs, including the Mahe and Huzhu reservoirs. The area boasts abundant resources in mountains, water, rocks, and forests, as well as superior geographical conditions and obvious locational advantages.
