The historical buildings of Tengzhou No. 1 Middle School are located in Beixin Subdistrict, Tengzhou City, dating back to the Republic of China era.

On June 23, 2015, the historical buildings of Tengzhou No. 1 Middle School were designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Beixin Subdistrict: Located in the northern part of Tengzhou City, Beixin Subdistrict covers a total area of 40 square kilometers. It administers six communities—Tengbei, Wentan, Yugang, Mawang, Beijiao, and Datong—and 47 residential committees, with a total population of 82,000. Major transportation arteries such as National Highway 104, the Beijing–Fuzhou Expressway, and the Beijing–Shanghai Railway run north–south through the district, while a network of roads including Beixin Road, Beihuan Road, and Dongxin Road forms a well-connected grid of "six verticals and seven horizontals." The subdistrict offers comprehensive supporting services and enjoys an elegant living environment.
