The Jiangxi Geological Museum serves as a science education base and a patriotic education base.

Introduction: The Jiangxi Geological Museum is affiliated with the Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development. It is the only geological museum in Jiangxi Province and has a history of nearly eighty years. The museum houses over 1,500 specimens and features five exhibition areas. Using modern high-tech methods, it showcases the history of geological changes across the land of Gan and Po, its abundant mineral resources, and beautiful geological environments. It highlights the remarkable achievements made by generations of geologists in Jiangxi through decades of hard work. The museum has become a popular science venue for educating the public and young people about earth sciences, as well as an important window for promoting Jiangxi’s geological and mineral scientific achievements and showcasing the province’s mineral resource environment. It has been awarded titles such as “Jiangxi Youth Science and Technology Education Base,” “Youth Science Education Base,” and “Youth Patriotic Education Base.”
