Hangzhou, December 9, 2015 — Cycling along China’s most beautiful lakeside greenway with their goddesses, experiencing horseback riding at the first equestrian park in the Yangtze River Delta region of China, and enjoying a boat ride with their companions to watch the sunset in the stunning scenery of Qiandao Lake... A romantic winter fairy tale journey built around cycling, equestrian activities, sunset views, and vacationing. On December 5, the "Bike Ride to Watch the Sunset, Enchanted by Qiandao Lake" — 2015 "Qiandao Lake Goddess Season" winter self-drive tour experience event, jointly organized by the Qiandao Lake Tourism Commission and Hangzhou TV’s "Today's Cars" program, came to a successful conclusion.
At 9:00 AM, the equestrian challenge officially kicked off at the Qiandao Lake Jinxianwan Equestrian Park. Five teams, each comprising a “goddess” captain and her teammates, were ready for action. The captains included Zhang He, host of Hangzhou TV’s Comprehensive Channel; Shan Shan, host of FM105.4 West Lake Radio; Huang Yi and Zhang Yi from Hangzhou TV’s Film & Television Channel; and other popular hosts and online influencers. The five goddesses wore captain armbands and led their teams in shouting cheers. After familiarizing themselves with the course and watching demonstrations by professional coaches, each goddess, guided by their coach, led their team in mimicking the challenge. Despite light rain, the enthusiasm of the event remained undampened. During breaks, the goddesses eagerly took photos with the tall horses, capturing their equestrian moments. After scoring by professional judges, the winning team received a special Qiandao Lake souvenir gift pack as a memento.
Five Beautiful Hosts from Hangzhou TV
After sampling local specialties at the Folk Village restaurant, the goddesses and fellow drivers headed to the Qiandao Lake Central Lake Area cruise terminal. At 3:00 PM, the boat set off, offering scenic views of Qiandao Lake’s seasonal beauty along the way. Participants took photos and interacted closely with the goddesses, enjoying the tranquility and relaxation that the “oasis of the soul” provides.
The goddess hosts and drivers all expressed that they had a fulfilling day, leaving a deep and highly positive impression of all aspects of Qiandao Lake tourism. They praised the delicious cuisine, the unique healing qualities of Qiandao Lake, and the distinctive joy of combining sports with leisure.
