Dong Yuan Group’s culinary arm, Meileshi Catering, has introduced two more Japanese chain restaurant brands—Tsurumaru Tsuru Maru Udon and hara donuts—as well as combining them with Maido Ooki ni Shokudo. In July, they officially launched at “FOOD KITCHEN” in Xihu Rui Guang, appearing as a three-brand composite restaurant. Together, they offer Japanese noodles, rice dishes, and donut desserts to meet diverse customer preferences.

Maido Ooki ni Shokudo has been expanding in Taiwan for nearly three years and is now opening its 11th branch. Its signature dishes include tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet), grilled fresh fish, and donabe-style rice. The newly arrived Japanese donut brand “hara donuts” emphasizes safety, handmade quality, and a homey flavor. Their donuts are made with soy milk and whole wheat flour, resulting in lower sugar and calorie content, and come in 10 flavors priced between NT$25–35. Tsurumaru Tsuru Maru Udon, a Japanese chain with over 50 locations in Japan, is also making its first foray into the Taiwanese market.
