Jiangxi Provincial Exhibition Center

The Jiangxi Provincial Exhibition Center is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Jiangxi Provincial Exhibition Center is located on the west side of bustling Bayi Square in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. The exhibition building was formerly the "Long Live the Victory of Mao Zedong Thought Museum," built in 1968. In 1992, it was established through the merger of the former Provincial Exhibition Hall, Provincial Agricultural Exhibition Hall, and Provincial Industrial Exhibition Hall, forming the Jiangxi Provincial Exhibition Center. It is now affiliated with the Jiangxi Publishing Group Corporation and serves as an important showcase for Jiangxi Province’s politics, economy, and culture.

In December 2016, in accordance with the provincial Party committee and government's directives to "return commercial spaces to cultural use" and to "restore the original appearance and renovate the old as it was," the exhibition building underwent a comprehensive upgrade and renovation. This renovation project was a key provincial construction initiative. The renovated exhibition center retained over 10,000 square meters of exhibition halls indoors, and added a central hall, VIP rooms, multi-function halls, and meeting rooms. It also installed escalators, passenger elevators, freight elevators, a building-wide central air conditioning system, fire control systems, and a Building Automation (BA) intelligent management system. It has been awarded the “Grade One Qualification for Exhibition Venue Engineering Departments” by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Exhibition Industry, making it the top choice for hosting important governmental and industrial exhibitions, as well as high-end, high-quality cultural and artistic events.

The Jiangxi Provincial Exhibition Center is the only professional exhibition venue in Central China and serves as a council member of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Exhibition Industry and an executive council member of the China Agricultural Exhibition Association.

The Jiangxi Provincial Exhibition Center currently has five professional exhibition halls, covering a total area of 10,000 square meters, along with 5,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition space and 500 international standard booths. Since its establishment, it has hosted over 500 national and provincial exhibitions and has won numerous awards.
