Tuanjie Village Rural Tourism Demonstration Site ---- The Tuanjie Tourism Leisure Orchard "Peach Blossom Spring," nestled by Miaomu Mountain, gazes eastward at the stunning beauty of Mount Lu and drinks from the mighty Yangtze River to the north. The mountains are covered in ancient forests, while temples echo with evening drums and morning bells. Here, you can quietly listen to birdsong and enjoy the fragrance of flowers. Invite a few friends to admire the blossoms or bring your family to taste the fruit. Take photos on the stone steps in the woods, enjoy a self-service picnic, and experience life in nature — truly refreshing and carefree.

I. Geographic Location

This rural tourism demonstration site is located in Matou Town, Ruichang City, about 5 kilometers from the town center. Heading west out of the town and following the Yadong Cement (the largest Taiwan-funded enterprise in Jiangxi) mining area up to Miaomu Mountain, known as "Little Mount Lu," you gradually leave the bustling urban area and the lively Yadong mining zone, entering a lush, tree-lined mountainous region. The view opens up, the air becomes fresher, and you immerse yourself in a purely natural space where your mood naturally relaxes and lifts. From the mountaintop — Miaofeng — you can gaze far out at the rolling Yangtze River and overlook the Yadong mining area, making it the best leisure and summer retreat when work gets hectic.

II. General Overview

The entire leisure orchard stretches approximately 15 kilometers from east to west and about 8 kilometers from north to south. It contains over a hundred farmhouses. Currently, the leisure orchard covers a total area of more than 2,700 acres, with a total investment of over 2 million yuan. The main varieties include nectarine,五星 (Big Five-Star) loquat, Cuiguan pear, and citrus. The nectarine trees began bearing fruit in 2004, showing initial success. In 2005, the profit reached over 100,000 yuan, and in 2006, it is expected to yield 500,000 kilograms of nectarines, with projected profits of around 200,000 yuan. March to April is the season for golden Big Five-Star loquats; May to July is the best time to admire the contrast of red nectarines against green leaves and enjoy both the scenery and the fruit; August to October is the season for Cuiguan pears hanging from the trees; and after enjoying the pears, there are also citrus fruits to look forward to！

Within Peach Blossom Spring, there are natural scenic areas, natural landscapes, and man-made attractions. Existing sites include: Watching the Sunrise from the East; Overlooking the Yangtze River, Yadong Mining Area, and the Entire Matou Town; A Thousand-Year-Old Camphor Tree; Dragon’s Saliva at Dongyan; Miaomu Peak; Tiger Cave; Ancient Temple at Dongyan; Guanyin Cave; Clam Facing the River; Elephant and Horse Rocks; Scenic Sentiment Path; Heroic Slope Stone Steps; and the Legendary Stone Mortar.

This leisure orchard has a cement road leading directly to it and is equipped with two parking lots, large and small, which can accommodate nearly 100 cars at the same time. Inside the park, crisscrossing stone paths provide convenient access in all directions, making transportation very easy.

The chicken farm currently raises 4,000 local free-range chickens. A "Self-Service Wild Dining Tour" is under construction, providing cooking utensils, pots, pans, bowls, and basins so that visitors can pick fresh vegetables from the farm, slaughter chickens or ducks themselves, cook their own meals, and enjoy the fun.

In the beautiful spring month of March, pink peach blossoms cover the mountains, green trees sprout new buds, mixed with golden rapeseed flowers. The fragrant floral scents are delightful, and the colorful blossoms are a feast for the eyes — a true paradise on earth, a heavenly realm.

III. Reception Situation

To date, nearly 150,000 yuan has been invested to renovate nearly 400

m² of outdoor spaces that retain an original, rustic charm and revolutionary atmosphere; the interior has been simply but appropriately decorated as the former Gongnongbing (Workers, Peasants, and Soldiers) Canteen, featuring dining, accommodation, and entertainment facilities. An additional 200,000 yuan has been invested to renovate about 3,000 m² of idle residential houses consisting of over ten rooms, serving as resting places for tourists, with a capacity to accommodate 300 visitors simultaneously. As a leisure venue for developing agritainment, Tuanjie Mountain has many idle blue-brick tile houses left after relocation. With minor repairs, they make excellent rural leisure accommodations. Vegetables planted around the houses allow visitors to truly experience a small-scale farming life. As of now, this year, 5,000 tourists have been received free of charge.
