Majian Bridge

Majian Bridge is located about 200 meters southwest of Majian Village, Mingshan Township. It spans across Majian Port and runs along the north-south road, serving as an important ancient route to Raozhou. This bridge is an old-style single-arch structure. Originally, the bridge featured a hip-and-gable roof, a double-eave pavilion with upturned eaves, painted beams, and carved rafters, functioning as a temple. It held significant value in ancient architectural art but was burned down by the Japanese army during the Anti-Japanese War. After the war, it was rebuilt as a single-story beam-style pavilion consisting of five bays, measuring 18 meters in total length, 5.3 meters in width, and 4.3 meters in height. It is the only remaining ancient bridge-pavilion combination structure preserved in the county.
