Wulingyan Taoyuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area

Wulingyan Taoyuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

Wulingyan Taoyuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Yangzhou Township, Wuning County, Jiangxi Province, bordering Jing’an County and Yongxiu County. It lies to the north of Lushan West Sea and to the south of Sanzhaolun National Forest Park, covering an area of 46 square kilometers. The scenic area is connected by the clear waters of the Guayuan River, forming a “dynamic landscape gallery” that strings together attractions along the river such as Shenwu Mountain, Taoyuan Valley, Mituo Temple, Wulingyan Rafting, Wuwang Peak, and Wuling Que Valley. The area features crisscrossing canyons, abrupt peaks, and unique landscapes of wonder, beauty, and danger, attracting more and more tourists to visit and explore.

In July this year, the national water conservancy scenic area expert group conducted an assessment and acceptance of Wulingyan Taoyuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Wuning County. The stunning natural scenery, fully equipped functional facilities, and the high attention paid by the county Party committee and government to creating a national-level water conservancy scenic area were all highly commended and appreciated by the expert group. The experts unanimously approved the promotion of Wulingyan Taoyuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Wuning County to a national-level water conservancy scenic area.

The successful establishment of Wulingyan Taoyuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Wuning County as a national-level water conservancy scenic area adds new luster to the “Landscape Wuning” brand as a leisure and wellness city.
