Yangtiantang Located at the foot of Wuling Rock, turn left from General Stone to Yanwa, where you’ll find a basin covering an area of about 4,000 square meters. Within it, a naturally formed body of water spans approximately 700 square meters, surrounded by willow trees. The water flows in two directions: one stream heads toward the Sanzhualun National Demonstration Forest Park in Jing’an, while the other flows into the Guayuan Port within the proposed Jiuling Mountain National Forest Park. As the origin of the water is not visible from the surface, locals find it quite mysterious, hence the name “Yangtiantang” (literally “Looking-Up-to-the-Sky Pond”).
