Pingyao Ecological Farm is located by Wuning Lake in Chachi Village, Futian Township. Covering a total land area of 210.7 hectares, the farm is surrounded by water on three sides and boasts beautiful scenery, earning it the reputation of “Mountain Lu Mountain” in Wuning. The farm has planted 15 hectares of various fruits including chestnuts, persimmons, peaches, plums, bayberries, grapes, oranges, and pomelos, along with a 2.7-hectare fish farming area in the reservoir bays. The adoption rate of biogas digesters among local households has reached 100%. The entire sightseeing park is divided into six functional areas: the exotic vegetables and melons zone, the fruit viewing garden, the special aquatic products zone, the rare poultry farming zone, the precious flowers zone, and the leisure and entertainment zone. It includes a variety of activities such as eco-friendly rafting, boat sightseeing, fishing on the water, rowing games, boat-house teahouses, lakeside island picnics, and designated hunting, allowing visitors to experience the charm of “eating farmhouse meals, staying in farmhouse rooms, doing farm work, enjoying the rural scenery,” as well as the joy of “returning to the fields and reconnecting with nature.”
