Qingshan Tourist Resort

Qingshan Tourist Resort is located at the foot of Mount Lu by Poyang Lake, China’s largest freshwater lake. It features the scenery of Poyang Lake, the pastoral landscapes of Qingshan Lake, Quaternary glacial relics represented by the Stone and Shoe Mountain, the ancient Qingshan Street and historic dock trading town, as well as historical sites such as Peach Blossom Nunnery and King Ding River Temple, all of which are widely renowned. The Qingshan Stone Gallery by the locally famous “Stone Elder” Song Jinshan will also be built on the site of the ancient Qingshan Street.

Once completed, Qingshan Tourist Resort will become a large-scale integrated tourism and leisure destination at the foot of Mount Lu and by Poyang Lake, and will serve as an important scenic area of the World Heritage Site — Mount Lu.

Within the 346.7-hectare total area of the Qingshan Reclamation Farm by Poyang Lake at Mount Lu, 200 hectares are planned for the development of Qingshan Tourist Resort. The goal is to create a new tourist attraction that combines ecological agriculture, pastoral scenery, Poyang Lake tourism, park recreation, leisure and entertainment, villa residences, conference centers, and training bases. Specific construction includes indoor and outdoor entertainment venues, water parks and water tourism activities, a villa complex and multifunctional reception service center, agritainment experiences, leisure parks, restoration of historical sites, and the enshrinement of the Mazu branch shrine. The project will include 91,000 square meters of building and site construction, along with 10 kilometers of internal resort roads and pedestrian pathways. Upon completion, the resort will accommodate 800 visitors per day for lodging and dining, 3,000 people per day for leisure and entertainment, and 20,000 visitors per day for sightseeing.

Qingshan Tourist Resort has been officially approved for preparation by the relevant authorities of Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province.
