The Temple of the Five Manifestations of the God of War is a cultural tourism attraction.

Built during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty, it covers less than 2 square meters and is claimed to be the smallest temple in the world. Legend has it that long ago, five senior disciples of Master Dingkong bravely fought to the death against a vicious dragon that brought calamity to villagers by riding on demonic winds and sweeping away people and livestock. After a fierce battle, they finally slew the dragon, but the five warriors were severely wounded, and their bodies succumbed to poison. Nearby villagers built a grand temple on the rocky islet to honor their heroic deeds. However, the spirits of the five warriors, who remained ever-vigilant, learned that the people had built a temple in their memory and felt unworthy of such offerings. They tried their best to prevent the construction, causing the temple to collapse repeatedly no matter how many times it was built. After many twists and turns, the villagers finally understood the noble intentions of the five deities. So instead of constructing a large temple, they built a small one the size of a square table and named it “Temple of the Five Manifestations of the God of War.”
