Xiyin Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Xiyin Temple

Located at the foot of Baiyun Peak, about two kilometers west of Shangchi Village, Xiyin Temple was a temple dedicated to Lady Chen, the wife of Wang Anshi. The temple had an endowed field (with one "zhuang" equaling fifty mu), which later generations misheard and called it “Ximei Temple.” The temple has now collapsed, with only faint traces of its foundation walls and remnants of bricks and tiles remaining. Both the mountain and the temple originally belonged to Shangchi Village but were reassigned after the liberation to Dun Tou Village, located about one kilometer west of Shangchi Village. The location of “Xiyin Temple” is marked on the old site map of Shangchi Village.
