San Pietro Cathedral in Ji'an is a cultural tourism attraction.

A Marvelous Masterpiece – San Pietro Cathedral, built between 1160 and 1232, is the most impressive landmark in the old town. The cathedral blends various architectural styles: the original structure was built in the Romanesque style, its arches are Gothic, and the main façade added in the 18th century features Greek-Roman columns and a dome reminiscent of Rome’s Pantheon.

Beneath the cathedral lies Europe’s largest publicly accessible underwater archaeological site, which offers visitors insight into how the cathedral evolved from a modest chapel to its current grandeur. Additionally, many astonishing wonders can be seen, such as a baptistery dating back to the 4th century and exquisite mosaics from the 5th century that reflect different social classes across various historical periods.
