The Ji’an Martyrs Memorial Hall is a classic red tourism destination.

The Ji’an County Martyrs Memorial Hall is a thematic memorial established to commemorate the Ji’an County martyrs who gave their lives from the May Fourth Movement through the founding of the Communist Party of China, during the First and Second Revolutionary Civil Wars, the War of Resistance Against Japan, the Liberation War, and up to the new period of socialist construction. It is a National Key Martyrs Memorial Building Protection Unit and a patriotic education base in Ji’an City. The memorial was built in 1978, opened to the public in July 1980, and underwent renovation and refurbishment in 2009. After reinstalling its exhibits, it reopened as a free-admission site. The hall faces south and is enclosed by a stone fence corridor, covering an area of over 12,000 square meters. The exhibition building itself has a construction area of more than 1,700 square meters, spanning two floors and comprising a lobby, a memorial hall, and nine exhibition rooms. Along the 410-meter-long exhibition route, the portraits, biographies, and historical photos of 143 representative revolutionary martyrs from Ji’an County—including Luo Shibing, Zeng Yansheng, Liang Yiqing, Lai Jingbang, and Hu Hai—are displayed. Over 1,000 relics and revolutionary artifacts are also exhibited. The granite stele corridor is inscribed with the names of 10,049 martyrs from Ji’an County who died for the nation, serving as a permanent tribute. In March 2009, the State Council approved the Ji’an County Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall as a National Key Martyrs Memorial Building Protection Unit, and central government funds were allocated for its renovation. Outdoor renovations and indoor exhibitions were carried out in 2010. The newly refurbished memorial features a grand and imposing exterior, with innovative and vivid exhibition designs. Through modern techniques such as bas-reliefs, historical scenes, diorama models, video documentaries, audio playback, and multimedia, it vividly recreates the revolutionary struggle history of Ji’an County.
