The old residence of Peng Dehuai is located in Longjia Natural Village, Yaopeng Village, Tianhe Town. It is situated in the ancestral hall of the Long family in Longjia Natural Village. In late 1929, Peng Dehuai led his troops from Jinggangshan, captured Yongxin County, and stationed in Tianhe, staying at the Long family ancestral hall. During the Spring Festival of 1930, Peng Dehuai personally inscribed in front of the hall: “Fighting and celebrating the New Year are two tasks, unity between the army and the people is one heart...”
