Comrade Mao Zedong's former residence is located at Luohansi (formerly Qiu Family Residence) in the county town. On January 5, 1928, after leading the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army to capture Suichuan County, Mao Zedong stayed here. The former residence now displays the living utensils he used at the time. It is a key cultural relic protection unit at the county level.
