Chapanzhou

Chapanzhou. A AAA-level rural tourism destination in Jiangxi Province, it has been awarded the title of “Provincial Forest Village.” Located in the northwest of Yaqian Town, Suichuan County, it is 5 kilometers from Yaqian Market Town. The scenic Shuoshui River is captivating, with verdant mountains lining both banks, ancient trees towering overhead, bamboo groves hugging the shores, lush green canopies overhead, and misty waters stretching as far as the eye can see—offering boundless natural beauty. The Zuojian section of the Shuoshui River flows through the area, and due to its shape closely resembling an “tea tray,” this green oasis is called “Chapanzhou” (Tea Tray Isle). Surrounded by water on its east, south, and west sides, and backed by hills to the north, the isle boasts ancient towering trees, picturesque scenery, and a beautiful ecological environment. It serves as a “showcase” of Suichuan’s ecological and cultural preservation efforts.
