Yanxi Ancient Village. A national AAA-level scenic spot. As the first village at the foot of Jinggang Mountain, Yanxi Ancient Village stands out with its unique resource advantages and profound cultural heritage, making it a top choice for Jinggang cultural tourism. The village features the Huang Family Zhengliang Hall, a masterpiece blending Huizhou-style architecture with enclosed house characteristics, the Yanshan Academy – the earliest family-run private school to implement class-based education – and an intact Huang Family Ancestral Hall that combines Chinese and Western elements.

Yanxi is a village with a history of over 800 years and currently houses two provincial-level cultural relics protection units: the Yanshan Academy and Zhengliang Hall. In recent years, Duiqianqian Town has actively secured funding and invested 12 million yuan to build “Yanxi – A Culturally Enriched Village of Study and Farming,” completing 18 major projects and 47 sub-projects including the Study & Farming Plaza, ancient brick walking paths, ecological flood control embankments, and sightseeing pavilions. The village is also the first in the county to have asphalt roads, a separate rainwater and sewage system, and an ecological flood control embankment.
