Changgang Township Investigation Memorial Hall. Changgang Township in Xingguo County was a model township for the work of the Soviet government during the revolutionary base area period. In November 1933, Chairman Mao led a central government investigation team to Changgang Township. After the investigation, he compiled the famous article "Investigation of Changgang Township."

The "Chairman Mao’s Changgang Township Investigation Memorial Hall," opened in 1977, is located in Changgang Village, Changgang Township, Xingguo County, about 4 kilometers from the county seat. It mainly displays historical materials related to Chairman Mao’s investigation of Changgang Township, as well as the experiences of the local cadres in maintaining close ties with the masses, caring about their lives, paying attention to working methods, and building Changgang Township into a model township. The memorial hall covers an area of 7,028 square meters and has four exhibition halls. The entrance hall features a large sculpture of Chairman Mao conducting a field investigation in Changgang Township. The exhibition halls also house a large number of photos and artifacts from the Soviet area period for visitors to view and learn from.
