Jiangxi Lianjiang National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Lianjiang National Wetland Park is located in Xingguo County, Jiangxi Province, with a planned total area of 53,655 mu, of which 35,437 mu are wetlands. The project has a total investment of approximately 260 million yuan. Built upon the unique mid-subtropical southern fringe natural and artificial composite wetland system that combines rivers, marshes, water storage areas, ponds, and other features, along with a long-standing local wetland cultural heritage, the park takes the protection of the wetland ecosystem as its primary goal. Supported by diverse cultures such as Hakka culture, red culture, and wetland culture, and utilizing means such as wetland ecological culture education and exhibition, as well as eco-experience, it serves as a national-level wetland park that integrates wetland conservation, wetland function demonstration, wetland culture promotion, wetland scientific research and monitoring, and wetland eco-tourism.

The construction scale of Xingguo Wetland Park is at the provincial level, covering an area of 150 hectares. It is situated between 115°20′45″ to 115°21′15″ east longitude and 26°29′11″ to 26°29′13″ north latitude. Once completed, the wetland park will perform the function of the “Earth’s kidney,” playing a positive role in water conservation, flood control, climate regulation, pollution degradation, ecological balance maintenance, and biodiversity protection in Xingguo.

The address of Xingguo County’s “Wetland Park” is located in the triangular area upstream of the confluence of the Hui (pronounced “hui”) River and the Lian River, south of Xingguo County’s southern gate. To the east it borders the industrial park, to the south it flows into the Ping River, to the west it neighbors the General’s Park, and to the north it lies adjacent to the urban area. The park adheres to the principle of “long-term planning, promoting protection, rational utilization, and moderate development.” With an ecological and environmental protection theme, it organically combines ecological conservation, eco-tourism, and ecological environment education functions. The park takes the cultural essence of the Pagoda (Zhu Hua Pagoda, also known as Chengshui Pagoda) as its core, characterized by the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. The main construction elements include the Banyan Tree Island, Lotus Pond, Herb Garden, and Water Network around the Pagoda.
