Shibapai Scenic Area

Shibapai is a mountain peak located at the border of Taihe and Xingguo counties in Jiangxi Province, covering an area of 3 square kilometers and standing at an elevation of 1,176 meters. It is the highest peak in Taihe County and the second highest in Xingguo County. Shibapai is the highest point of the east-west arc-shaped watershed ridge between the two counties and gets its name because the climb involves crossing eighteen horizontal ridges. With a forest coverage rate of 95%, it is known as a "natural oxygen bar." The provincial key project, the mountain wind power "Energy Valley," is built along the ridgeline of Shibapai. Once completed, Shibapai will become a new tourist destination, featuring alpine meadow scenery, red culture, and wind turbine landscapes.
