The former site of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Medical School is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The former site of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Medical School is located at the Li Clan Ancestral Hall in Chaling Village, Dinglong Township, Xingguan County.

The Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Medical School (also known as the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Health School, the Central Revolutionary Military Commission Health School, and the Affiliated School of the Central Red Army General Hospital) is the predecessor of the current Shenyang Medical University of the People's Liberation Army of China. In October 1931, the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Medical School relocated to Chaling in Dinglong, Xingguan, with its headquarters set up at the Li Clan Ancestral Hall. The school was initially headed by He Cheng, who also served as the head of the Red Army General Health Department, later succeeded by Peng Zhen (also known as Peng Longbo), with Wang Lizhong as the political commissar.

From 1931 to 1934, during its stay in Chaling, the medical school enrolled three classes with a total of over 580 students. Each class underwent approximately one year of training before being assigned to serve in Red Army units and local hospitals, becoming the first group of military doctors trained by our army. In April 1934, the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Medical School moved to Ruijin.

The original site building covers an area of 420 square meters, faces south, and features a brick-and-wood structure with a flush gable roof covered in board tiles. The ancestral hall is divided into upper and lower halls, with a courtyard between them and a post-and-lintel style beam frame. It was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit in February 1999.
