The former site of the Bannan Military Meeting of the Central Bureau of the Chinese Soviet Area is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The former site of the Bannan Military Meeting of the Central Bureau of the Chinese Soviet Area, located in the suburbs of Xingguo County, hosted a militarily significant meeting of the First Front Red Army (including the Fifth Red Army Corps) on August 4, 1932. The meeting focused on strategies to combat the Kuomintang’s “encirclement and suppression” and on reorganizing the Red Army—topics of great importance. It holds substantial value for the study of military history. This revolutionary site and historic building also serve important purposes in traditional education and historical research.

In 2007, the former site of the Bannan Military Meeting of the Central Bureau was designated by the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province as a Provincial-Level Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit in the fifth batch of such listings.
