Former Site of the Special Task Company of the Central Arsenal

The former site of the Special Task Company of the Central Arsenal is located in Qianxia Group, Guantian Village, Xinglian Township, Xingguan County, dating back to the years 1931–1935.

In March 2018, it was designated as part of the sixth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Jiangxi Province.

Guantian Village: Located in the southeastern part of Xinglian Township, Guantian Village is 3 kilometers from the township government, covering an area of 14 square kilometers. The village has a population of 2,997 and comprises 13 villager groups: Xiekeng, Tongjiang, Zhaxia, Daping, Hebei, Qianxia, Libu, Shanxia, Cunshang, Guanxi, Xinwu, Laowu, and Shuikou. It has 1,480 mu of arable land and 12,300 mu of forested land. The area produces pollution-free fruits and has a standardized camellia oil base. The former site complex of the Central First Arsenal has been developed into a red tourism destination, creating a Guantian with Chinese characteristics.
