The Ancestral Hall of the Guan Clan in Yanggong Village is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Ancestral Hall of the Guan Clan in Yanggong Village is located in Yanggong Village, Kuantian Township, Yudu County, Jiangxi Province. Legend has it that it was originally built on a site chosen by Yang Yunsong, a geomancer during the Tang Dynasty, but was later destroyed. It was rebuilt on the original site in the 45th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1706). The hall faces southwest and is situated to the northeast, featuring a brick-and-wood structure, a flush gable roof, fire walls, three halls, and side rooms on both sides. It is 15.2 meters wide, 40.9 meters deep, 11 meters high, and covers an area of 1,063 square meters. The lower hall includes a stage, while the middle and lower halls are adorned with caisson ceilings. To the left of the corridor between the middle and upper halls, there is a “Shangyi Shrine” specifically dedicated to commemorating Yang Yunsong. The main gate is built from brick and stone, with four pillars, three bays, and three stories, and features a stone plaque engraved with the characters “Guan Clan Ancestral Hall.” In front of the gate, the courtyard houses a pair of exquisitely carved red stone lions. The ancestral hall underwent multiple renovations in the 3rd year of the Jiaqing reign (1798), the 20th year of the Guangxu reign (1894), and in modern times. In September 2004, it was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit by the People’s Government of Yudu County. On March 9, 2018, it was announced as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit by the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province.
