Xiamen Science and Technology Museum is a large-scale science museum with high technical content. The entire venue houses over 400 exhibits and features a dynamic 4D cinema and a flight simulator cinema, where you can experience some fascinating phenomena. It's a great place to bring children. The museum is located at the intersection of Xianyue Road and Tiyu Road, and is a science education base aimed at improving public scientific and cultural literacy. With the theme of "Humanity · Technology · Harmony," it is divided into five major exhibition areas: the "Ocean · Cradle" exhibition area, the "Exploration · Discovery" exhibition area, the "Creation · Civilization" exhibition area, the "Harmony · Development" exhibition area, and the "Children · Future" exhibition area. Upon entering the museum’s lobby, you’ll see its prized exhibit — the water clock, which uses the potential energy of flowing water to keep time with high accuracy, allowing you to compare it with the time on your own watch. Then, as you walk along the Path of Science, you’ll arrive at the first exhibition area, the "Ocean · Cradle" zone, which features colorful images of marine life and offers detailed information about the ocean. Here, you can even take a photo with a “great white shark.” The highlight of this area is the 12-level typhoon simulation, where you can truly experience the feeling of a strong windstorm. Moving on, you’ll find the "Exploration · Discovery" exhibition area, where you can learn your weight on other planets, explore the Distorted House, and even experience the "hair-raising" Van de Graaff generator. The exhibits in this area are all quite fun.
