Huangcuo Village

This used to be a small fishing village. If you stay here overnight, head out to watch the sunrise by the sea. Huangcuo Village has not been developed as extensively as Zengcuo’an and remains quite peaceful overall. There is a police station both at the entrance and within the village.

Situated along Xiamen’s Island Ring Road and near Mingyiyuan Golf Club, it is just a ten-minute walk to the beach. The area is a 25–30 minute drive from Xiamen Railway Station and Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport. Nearby attractions include Jingzhou Amusement Park, Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center, Xiamen University, Nanputuo Temple, and Hulishan Fortress. The location is excellent. With beautiful surroundings, backed by mountains and facing the sea, this spot is within the city yet away from the hustle and bustle—free from pollution, offering tranquility and fresh air. From the rooftop, you can clearly see the small island of Little Kinmen in Taiwan.

【From the Airport】Recommended taxi route: Take the Yunding Tunnel to reach the Island Ring Road, enter via the intersection of Tatie Road (next to Sinochem gas station) and go left for 150 meters into Tatie Community. Travel time is about 25 minutes and the fare is around 50 RMB. Recommended bus route: Take Bus 91 from the airport bus station to Ruijing Xincun Station, then transfer to Bus 47 to Tatie Station. Travel time is about 40–50 minutes and the total fare is 2 RMB.

【From Xiamen Railway Station】Recommended taxi route: Take Xiamenhe Road, turn left onto Wenzen Road to reach the Island Ring Road, then turn left at the Tatie Road intersection. Travel time is about 10–15 minutes and the fare is around 22 RMB. Recommended bus route: Take Bus 48 to Xiamen University West Village, then transfer to Bus 47 and get off at Tatie Station. Walk about 5 minutes after seeing the Sinochem gas station on Tatie Road. Total fare is 2 RMB.

【From Gulangyu Island】Recommended taxi route: Cross via Yanwu Bridge to the Island Ring Road, then turn left at the Tatie Road intersection. Travel time is about 10 minutes and the fare is around 20 RMB. Recommended bus route: Take Bus 29 from the Ferry Bus Station to Tatie Station. Travel time is about 25 minutes and the total fare is 1 RMB.
