Xianyue Park (Xianyue Mountain)

Xianyue Park is located in the central part of Xiamen’s eastern new urban area. The “Sky Street” lies along the mountain ridge of Xianyue Mountain, with the under-construction Tianzhu Rock Temple to the west and the Earth God Temple on the northeast slope. The Sky Street site stretches approximately 48 meters from north to south and about 165 meters from east to west, covering a total land area of 12,143 square meters with a total construction area of about 2,777 square meters. The “Sky Street” scenic area includes dining buildings, craft shops, teahouses, and street-front retail stores, all laid out in consideration of the terrain and traffic flow, arranged linearly along the mountain ridge. The architecture draws inspiration from Southern Fujian-style buildings, with roofs featuring the curved forms typical of local vernacular houses—sloping gracefully from ridge to eaves. The design is elegant. To enhance the depth of the landscape, various sections are interconnected by covered walkways. Among them, the teahouse is designed as a traditional quadrangle courtyard, featuring both open halls and private compartments, with a stage directly opposite where visitors can enjoy tea while watching performances.

The planned total area of Xianyue Park is 2.27 square kilometers, with four main entrances. The east gate is located at the entrance of Guanyin Temple, opposite SM City Plaza, and the south gate is at the entrance of Qiaojian Garden on Xianyue Road.
