Christian Gulangyu Fuxing Church is located on the picturesque Gulangyu Island. It can be reached in just a few minutes' walk from the ferry terminal toward Haoyue Garden. The church is surrounded by green trees and red walls, adorned with blooming flowers, and features an elegant and dignified architectural style, making it a beautiful sight within Gulangyu’s Architectural Scenery Tourist Area. With a long history, the church was originally established as the “Christians’ Gathering Place” in the early 20th century—a church entirely founded and managed by Chinese believers. Historically, gatherings were held at Sizongsong, Huangjiadu, and Sidong. Currently, the person in charge of both Fuxing Church and the Guan’ai Gathering Point of the Christian Church is Pastor Chen Hanming.
