Meihua Beach

Meihua Beach is located on the southwestern side of Gulangyu Island and is one of the few relatively clean coastal areas on the island. Although you can’t see an endless expanse of sea here, it is quieter compared to the more crowded Dagangzi Beach. The sand is very fine, making it a great place to play and relax. After enjoying the beach, you can cross the nearby Gusheng Cave to reach Sunlight Rock, where the panoramic view of Gulangyu from the top is even more expansive. After leaving Sunlight Rock, you can head to the next beach — Dagangzi Seaside Bathing Beach.
